21 Dec DavidPolitis.com “Re”-Launched
Nearly two years ago, my time with Xi3 Corporation (and its parent company, ISYS Technologies) was drawing to a close — whether I knew it or not.
It was at that time that I felt impressed to re-examine my career, to consider what I was really good at (and what I was not), and to contemplate what was next — for me. It was a fascinating experience, especially as guided through the process by Steven R. Covey’s seminal bestseller: The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
It was this reflective experience that eventually led me to my current role as Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of MULTIVOICE, a fun and challenging position I have held since September 2014.
This was not all, however, as my contemplative self-examination also led me to recognize that it was time to look for opportunities to further define and grow my professional brand.
So . . . with the excellent assistance of a topnotch Graphic Designer (Alexi Bullock), we created a graphic identity for what became known as
The David Politis Company
and in August 2014 I soft-launched this professional brand, temporarily, here. Which was great, for awhile, and then things got super-crazy with MULTIVOICE in early 2015, and I haven’t updated anything on that temp Website since mid-January. I know: Bad, bad, bad!
So . . . welcome to the new DavidPolitis.com Website.
Clearly, it’s an entirely new Web design, although it’s still on point, graphically, for the branding of The David Politis Company. But most importantly, I have recommitted myself to regularly sharing thoughts, commentary, examples and more about the best (and worst) marketing endeavors I can find anywhere. And when I do, I hope others will feel inspired to chime in as well.
Additionally, I also plan to share specific Tips, Rules and more about what I have found in my career that actually works across the Marketing Mix, from
- Publicity to SEO, and from
- Events to Customer Service.
And here again, I hope that others will feel comfortable in providing feedback, commentary, and if appropriate, even pushback.
So that’s it for now. Thanks for reading. I look forward to hearing back from you.
